Painting: Painting is the act or process of using paint. The paint can create an artwork known as a painting, or it can be used more practically as a protective coating or form of decoration. Paintings are a form of visual art that captures the expression of ideas and emotions on a two-dimensional surface.
Drawing:  an act or instance of drawing especially the process of deciding something by drawing lots/the art or technique of representing an object or outlining a figure, plan, or sketch by means of lines.
Sketching: Traditionally refers to a preliminary rough type of drawing that an artist might make in preparation for either a painting or a more formal drawing (like a study). Not unlike caricature art, sketching is often about capturing a mood or key feature of the subject.
Watercolors: artists’ paint made with a water-soluble binder such as gum arabic, and thinned with water rather than oil, giving a transparent color.
Sculpture: the art of making two- or three-dimensional representative or abstract forms, especially by carving stone or wood or by casting metal or plaster.
Ceramic art: The art or technology of making objects of clay and similar materials treated by firing. Articles of earthenware, porcelain, etc.
Mixed Media: Mixed media is a type of artwork that mixes different media or materials into one piece. For example, a piece of art that combines an acrylic painting with fabric and paper is mixed media art.
Digital art: is an artistic work or practice that uses digital technology as part of the creative or presentation process.

Guidelines for Artwork

The power of our Art goes hand in hand with responsibility. Make sure that you’re supporting other people through your Artwork rather than pulling them down.

The types of Artwork that will be removed from the site include, but are not limited to:

• Anything deemed explicit or gratuitously violent.

• Any commercial posts and/or spam.

• Plagiarism (see more below).

• Links to any external websites.

Please keep in mind that the mission of Talented Keeda is to give Artists a platform for expression through Art. Talented Keeda is a place for members to express their thoughts and views within some form of crafted Art, rather than the type of posts you find on social media.

If an Artist posts content that violates our terms or goes against our guidelines, we will remove the post and contact the Artist when necessary. If an Artist continues to violate our terms, they will be disqualified from the competition.

Plagiarism, the copying and/or reproducing of someone else’s Artwork and/or ideas without attribution, violates the purpose of Talented Keeda. If you publish work that is plagiarized, it will be removed from the site. If you continue to publish plagiarized work, you will lose your chance of participation.

How to Avoid Plagiarism

By taking another person’s idea and claiming it as your own, you are stealing something valuable from them. You are also denying yourself an opportunity to develop your own unique identity through thoughtful Art. Of course, all ideas are the product of other ideas, but it’s very important to differentiate between your own original thinking and the thinking of others.

Here are some tips for avoiding plagiarism:

• Remember that changing some colors in artwork or erasing does not transform another person’s idea into your own.

• If you are in doubt as to whether to cite something or not, it’s best to err on the side of caution and cite your source.

• Reach out. We know that the differentiation between original ideas and plagiarism might seem confusing when you are learning to make Art, and we are here to help. We are also so happy to help you navigate the world of colors —please contact us at if you have any questions.
